Upcoming events this week
Hello! We want to say thank you to everybody who showed up at The Queensboro last week for our one year anniversary events. We had a lot of fun and we hope that you all did too, we really appreciate all of the love shown to us!
Now let's see what fun stuff we have planned for this week!

Helen Quinn Art Exhibit Opening - Thursday June 6th, 6-8PM
You may have noticed that we've been changing the art that was hanging on our walls for this past year. The large photographs were by Greg Kessler, a local photographer who very kindly lent us his pieces to decorate our space. He has a great eye for interesting characters and his beautiful photos really added a nice touch to The Q.
This is a guy who has photographed President Obama, presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, and a guy walking down Roosevelt Avenue with a large constrictor snake wrapped around his shoulders, so he's pretty cool, and if you want to find out more about him head on over to his website.
This week we're excited to finish installing art from another local artist, Helen Quinn! She is a stylist, designer, and artist living in New York City.
Join us on Thursday from 6-8PM to meet her and take a look at her amazing pieces that we've installed all over the restaurant.
A little more about Helen: she has been an editor and prop stylist for television, magazines, and catalogs. Her experience with color, texture, and interiors has led her to design textiles as well as paint lines.
She has led workshops at Parsons/The New School for the Aftertaste series and for Michelle Obama's "Reach Higher" initiative at the White House in 2014.
Each Spring she looks forward to teaching Color Lab at Parsons. Recently, she has been collaborating with artist Ondine Crispin, making prints for Dovecote Collective.

The Eugenia Choe Trio - Thursday June 6th 8:30PM
Also on Thursday, another new event with a performance by the Eugenia Choe Trio for the first time at The Q! We're looking forward to hearing them play, they come very highly rated, and you can find out more information about Eugenia over here!
With all of these things happening on Thursday would you perhaps consider making a reservation?
