Hello neighbors, we're back with some more great food for you tomorrow, as well as some fundraising efforts that we're proud to share with you, more on that below! Tomorrow is Friday, and apparently in some circles that means it's meatloaf day! We are not ones to buck at tradition, so if it's meatloaf you want, meatloaf you shall have! For Friday, April 17th, we are making the following: Charred broccoli and sweet potatoes with tahini mustard. Meatloaf with beef, pork, and veal! Apple fruit crisp. All this for $50! Delivery: We can deliver it to you, expect it between 5:30PM and 6:30PM. Pickup: You can come pick it up between 4:00PM and 6:00PM. A quick technical note: Our online ordering system is a little limited, so it doesn't let us schedule orders in advance the way we need this to work, so it will look as if you're ordering for right now, but please ignore that. Order before 2pm on Friday and get it delivered between 5:30PM and 6:30PM, or pick up between 4:00PM and 6:00PM. (Please ignore that it looks as if you're ordering for right now, this is for Friday!)
Poetry fundraiser!
Jackson Heights poet and superstarKC Trommer is selling her author copies of her award-winning poetry collection We Call Them Beautiful and donating the proceeds of the sales to benefit Elmhurst Hospital. Improv show fundraiser, Friday 8:30. Yes! And...
FoHi Improv are a local improv group who have performed at The Q a couple of times, they're an amazing bunch of people and now they're even more amazing because they are going to host a fundraiser show on Friday at 8:30 which you can watch live! Details are right over here, and all the proceeds will go towards the meals we're preparing for the hospital workers. It's a win win folks, mark your calendars - Friday at 8:30!
