Happy New Year From the Q
Hello friends!
Here it is, the last day of 2020 and boy are we excited! Of course we know that tomorrow will not magically make everything ok again, but we can't help feel that as a symbolic date it's a step in the right direction.
It's been a tough year for so many people in so many ways, but at the same time there is a lot to be hopeful for. Also, now that the vaccines are rolling out, we're looking forward to the end of all the restrictions soon!
Soon-ish?
Well, hopefully not too far away...
We've waited this long, we'll wait a little more.
We're also very very heartened by all of the incredible acts of kindness and generosity that we've witnessed since March. So many inspiring people have given so much of their money and time and energy, and it has kept us and so many others going through the dark times that we have faced.
So thank you Jackson Heights, and everybody else who has helped out in any way, big or small, we are eternally grateful to you!
We hope that you're all able to celebrate tonight, do we really need to remind you to be careful, stay local and wear a mask? At this point if that's not clear you probably don't live in Queens.
New Year's Day Menu - Fried Chicken & More!
What about tomorrow? The first day of the new year is always special, it's one of those days when everyone has the right to a relaxed, lazy time, maybe enjoy an afternoon bloody mary or two, munch on some fried chicken...
Did someone say fried chicken?!
Yes! We're making fried chicken, as well as a bunch of other food that you can order to pick up between 2-5pm tomorrow.
But please order soon! You have until 2pm today to get your orders in. Check out our New Year's Day Menu - you'll find a lot of wonderful food and drinks, then swing by tomorrow between 2 and 5, and you'll be set for the rest of the day!
