Family Meal - Sautéed Flounder Edition!
Dear friends and neighbors, we hope that you are well, welcome to day two of another week! We've been busy over here at The Q making family meals, and care packages, and Mother's Day delights. We've also been working hard preparing meals for healthcare workers through our partnerships with Queens Together and also World Central Kitchen. Thanks to your donations we've been able to prepare hundreds and hundreds of meals.
We've also been working with the Covid Care Neighborhood Network - helping them put together bags of groceries and supplies for people in need, this is turning out to be the most important thing we're doing right now. There are very few safety nets for a lot of people in our neighborhood and some of them are unable to afford food. We feel very strongly about helping out as much as we can
Today's Family Meal
Our Family Meals are good for 2-3 adults, or a family of 4 or 5 or so. They lend themselves well to reheating so if you don't eat it all in one sitting you can enjoy it over the next day or two.
